In July 1976, Mylinda Kay Lounsberry was born to Tamara and Edwin Lounsberry.
She was the second of two children for Tami and Ed, and Tami's third child in all (I, of course, was the first).
A miracle in a way, because Ed had previously had a vasectomy; both Paul, born the previous year, and Mylinda were unexpected but happy surprises. My miracle brother and sister.
I was a month from turning 14. This same year would have my biological father and his wife having one of my two brothers from that side of the family, Jimmy, named after my father and the next year Terry.
I had moved to Snohomish not long after, but visited every few months. Arriving by ferryboat each time, Paul and Mylinda came under the impression that I owned the vessel. Whenever they would spy it, they would wave and point it out to Mom, asking if I'd be stopping in to visit.
